walk4lanka Fundraising Update
The APSL walk4lanka fundraising event held on Sunday 25th September at the scenic Farmoor Reservoir in Oxford was a great success with a fantastic turnout, and beautiful sunny weather! An enjoyable day was had by all attendees, taking part in the walk and the picnic afterwards.
The dignitaries present at the event, High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in the United Kingdom H.E Mrs Saroja Sirisena, Lord Mayor of Oxford, Councillor James Fry and Chair of Oxfordshire County Council Susanna Pressel were very supportive of this worthy cause.
