APSL Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) – Urgent medical supplies to National Hospital of Sri Lanka
Thanks to the efforts of many, APSL with the help of Aspire Community Foundation, Sri Lanka were able to donate medical supplies worth over Rs. 400,000 to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka recently, specially aimed at preventing SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus).
“This donation will help treat 273 patients for one month to prevent complications of SLE,” said Dr Buddhika Jayaratna, Senior Registrar Rheumatologist together with Dr Monika De Silva, Consultant Rheumatologist who handed over the supplies to Dr W K Wickramasinghe, Deputy Director General NHSL and Dr Jayaruwan Bandara, Senior Registrar Administration, on behalf of APSL.
