APSL Young Professional Event 2019 was held on 13th June 2019 at Sri Lankan High Commission, London.

It was a rare opportunity to listen to a wonderful line up of young professionals from different fields.

Shini – A Science and Technology broadcaster who presents at BBC, Discovery and Al Jazeera

Lakmal – A scientist whose invention led to hand-held DNA analysers and a multi-billion pound technology business

Dulini – An associate professor who works tirelessly on improving careers of women in Sri Lanka

Tariq – An HR business partner who launched mentoring programmes in the NHS and Civil Service

It is great to see the achievements of these young Sri Lankans who make a significant contribution to UK as well as Sri Lanka.
