Project Description
Prof. I. M. Dharmadasa travels to Sri Lanka every year for his solar energy related projects and used to visit primary schools in rural areas. He used to award education packages and an APSL motivation certificates to children from poor background with his own funds. Later, few other APSL ex-co members also contributed to these awards. The APSL-certificate was framed and used to keep in children’s study area for motivation. Just over 200 were awarded over the past 15 years, and this is continuing.
